Begin your rewarding career as a secondary teacher in Texas!
Become A Certified Secondary Teacher
Secondary Teacher Certification is for candidates seeking certification in high school levels, middle school levels, and EC-12 levels. This certification is available to candidates throughout Texas and is offered in three learning formats: online, in-person, and hybrid.
Becoming a secondary teacher means preparing to guide students through some of the most critical stages of their development as young adults. We aim to help educators integrate their passion and knowledge into the secondary classroom using evidence-based teaching practices.
Throughout the program, you’ll receive ongoing support from your cohort leader and experienced educators, both in and out of the classroom. Our program prepares you to meet the unique needs of secondary students while developing the skills needed to create engaging, effective learning experiences in your content area.
We’re honored to be part of the beginning of your teaching career and look forward to supporting you as you build your skills, confidence, and classroom experience throughout your certification journey.
